On May 24th, KCM Trade participated in an unforgettable golf event, Medway Corporate Cup, held at the Medway Golf Club in Australia. As a long-term partner and sponsor of the club, KCM Trade not only made its appearance in the golf competition and banquet, but also served as the main sponsor and joined hand with Medway Golf Club to hold a meaningful auction to raise funds for the Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF), bringing warmth and hope to children in need.
The Golf Competition Showcased Remarkable Performances
After a brief but enthusiastic opening ceremony, an exciting golf competition unfolded. This event brought together 88 players, forming 22 strong teams with four players each. Each participant, driven by their love and passion for golf, showcased their skills on the lush green course. From seasoned golf veterans to promising newcomers, every player gave their all. Their superb techniques and precise calculations made each putt seem flawless, earning rounds of applause and cheers from the spectators.
KCM Trade's General Manager in Australia, Jason Lau, and KCM Trade's Chief Market Analyst, Tim Waterer, also participated in the competition, each leading their respective teams to impressive results.
After the competition, Rachael Jones, KCM Trade’s analyst and host for the event, kicked off the banquet by inviting Jeff Messer, the Medway Golf Club President, and Renee Jess, the Children’s Cancer Foundation Fundraising Director, to introduce the purpose of the event and the work of the Children’s Cancer Foundation to the guests.
Charity Auction: Transmitting Love and Hope
The highly anticipated segment of the event was the charity auction, which is the core part of KCM Trade's organization and participation in this event. As one of the main sponsors of the auction, KCM Trade carefully selected a series of top-notch and meaningful golf equipment as auction items. Fabian Rosin, a dedicated member of Medway Golf Course and a father who tragically lost his son to cancer, served as the auctioneer for the evening.
The response from the guests during the auction was enthusiastic. All the items were auctioned off, raising over 8,560 AUD. All the proceeds will directly go to the Children's Cancer Foundation (CCF) to support its work. The success of this event not only reflects our deep care and support for children with cancer but also adds depth and significance to KCM Trade's journey of public welfare.
Tim Waterer, the Chief Analyst of KCM Trade, delivered a compelling speech highlighting the significance of this charity event for the company. He emphasized KCM Trade's unwavering commitment to making a positive impact and expressed enthusiasm for future opportunities to effect change through collective efforts.
The successful hosting of this event not only demonstrated the organizational capabilities and service standards of Medway Golf Club but also highlighted KCM Trade's social responsibility and commitment to charity as a sponsor. KCM Trade has always adhered to the philosophy of "people-oriented, giving back to society," striving to support the community and focus on vulnerable groups in various ways. In the future, we look forward to more events like this, allowing love and responsibility to be spread across all sectors of society, creating a more harmonious and beautiful world together.
